Listen first
Programmes begin with what the community identifies as its most pressing need, not with what is easiest to deliver.
Deliver locally
Work is carried out with local volunteers, schools, care homes and health workers who stay with the community.
Record everything
Contributions, expenses and activities are documented so supporters can see how resources are used.
Build for continuity
We favour interventions that continue to deliver value after the immediate activity is completed.
